The first step creating my accessory was to draft a paper pattern making sure that the circle was even on both sides so when I cut my fabric it is symmetrical. I cut this pattern on the fold because I wasn't inserting a zip the normal way so I could just throw it over my head. From what I cut out from the neckline I recycled the material to use it for the ruffled cones as they were the perfect size to fir in between the neckline and the Suffolk Puffs. This was an ideal size to meet the bust line but still give shape through the movement in the arms.
