NOT MUCH TO DO FOR A POLO NECK COLLAR...

Last week during a pattern cutting lesson we focused on constructing collars one of which was a Polo Neck Collar which consisted of three main steps.
1. Fold the fabric in half and sew a 1.5cm seam allowance to attach both edges together.
2. Turn it the right way round and match both seams together.
3. Over lock all around the edge making sure both seams meet together.
I didn't realise how easy this collar was to make, I thought there would be much more steps. The skills I gained from this lesson was working with stretch fabric and learning a new adaptation that I could use for dress designing.
