I TRIED IT... NOT SURE IF IT WORKED..

Last night I want to try the bodice with the cubes on it and because I found it so fiddly to complete 3 cubes I reduced it down to one and still found it difficult and don't know whether it's right or not. I think it has worked but the pieces were really hard to sew together have to rotate them to meet. Maybe it's because it isn't on a mannequin and it needs volumes to fill the cube, but it looks awkward lying flat.What do you think?

    Pattern magic! The problem was the fabric you used. In the book they use heavy-weight canvas which holds it's own shape. I'm very impressed you are working around those patterns!
