PUTTING KNITTING IN PROSPECTIVE...

During my stay in Kent I took up the hobby of knitting and knitted many small pieces so incorporated them into my dress that I made today. I like how they go with the colour scheme and how they contrast to the texture of the rest of the dress but they are quite bold and take a little bit of attention away from the dress so I don't know whether to change the straps to a thinner thickness. What do you think?

    I've always wanted to learn how to knit, I should really try and learn one day.

    The straps are thick, but they are a lovely design feature. If they sit nicely on, I wouldn't change them :)
