EDITS CONVERTED INTO BLACK AND WHITE...

I'm sorry for overpowering my blog with these images but I need your opinions. I have changed these final edits into black and white but I don't know, what do you think? I prefer the quality of the lighting in these images as they are sharper and focuses on the dress better. What do you think, colour or black and white?

BLACK AND WHITE PHOTOS OF CATWALK DRESS...

I thought some of these images worked really well with the black and white contrast focusing on the details and making the creases of the fabric less visible. Even though it takes out the colour it gives my dress another identity, don't you think?

FREE FABRIC ANYONE?...

I did some work experience at a bridal shop in the summer of last year and have grown close to the woman that runs the shop. First of all she gave me her sewing machine and now she has sent me loads of expensive fabrics like satins and organza and not just a metre but like 5. This will come in handy for some of the experiments I will be intending to do this summer.

PACKAGE FOR EMILY...

Getting my CD with the photos on it. This sounds did weird but the photographer that sent my CD to me left me a little note and it was really cute so I thought I had to share it with you. Would this not make you happy?

THE CHOSEN FEW...

Out of all of the photos that I have previously posted some were selected to be edited by the photographer even thought I don't think she edited the best ones. I don't know whether to change some into black and white so I might experiment and I'll let you know soon.I have posted the images I think are the strongest but I think it's just personal opinion. Do you prefer these?

PROFESSIONAL PHOTOS OF CATWALK DRESS...

As you well know I took part in a styling workshop with Jemma Sawyer and the team which made these photos happen were - Lissie Kirkman, Miiami James, Jemma Sawyer and of course myself. I am happy with how they have turned out and can safely say they will hopefully be placed in my portfolio. Sorry for the amount of images there are I just couldn't decide which of them were the best ones. I bought props on set and had a vague idea on what I wanted am I believe we accomplished that. What do you think.. what are your favourites.

SKIRT FOR TWO?

For some reason yesterday I had the urge to make a skirt. It didn't pan out how I panned but ended up making two skirts both for my sister and myself. One of the patterns I made was done by altering the size 12 block and the one made for me was doesn't by making a skirt block to my measurements. I elasticated the waist to make it easier to fit and that;s what was available at the time and machine the hem line keeping the consistency of a high street skirt format. I think the fabric makes the simple skirt look more interesting, don't you think?

I could have used a more couture way of fastening the skirt but I was only trialing out a simple sample to see if it was wearable, but if I were to do it again I would use a stretchy fabric so it would be easier to get on the hips. Agree?
